Bonnie Blue fined £9 and banned from Bali for 10 years after ‘Bangbus’ arrest
Adult content creator Bonnie Blue has been hit with a £9 fine and banned from Bali for ten years.
The Brit, whose real name is Tia Billinger, was convicted over the misuse of the blue pick-up truck she bought in the country and named the Bangbus.
The 26-year-old was arrested while touring the Indonesian island in the vehicle to meet young men.
After landing at the holiday hotspot, Billinger wrote on social media: ‘Hey boys, those that are going to Schoolies and to those who are barely legal, cannot wait to meet you and I’m in Bali, so you know exactly what that means.’
Schoolies is an Australian tradition where high school graduates celebrate finishing their final year, usually at the age of 18, with a week-long trip that tends to involve a lot of partying.
Billinger appeared at Denpasar Distric Court this morning alongside two British men and an Australian.
She arrived in a white BMW SUV, before sitting on a wooden bench alongside the three men.
Billinger was fined 200,000 Indonesian Rupiah (£8.97) for ‘violating traffic regulations by using an open-back truck for goods but carrying people on the open-back truck’.
She was told she could pay the fine or be jailed.
Prosecutors also said one of the British men driving the open-backed vehicle did not have a valid international driving licence.
The controversial adult film star was earlier investigated over pornography and immigration offences.
Police say they stormed a property on the island and found she was filming a game involving 17 male tourists.

Reports say officers seized several cameras, lubricant, condoms, Viagra pills, 19 outfits labelled ‘School Bonnie Blue’ and her ‘Bangbus’.
A spokesperson for the police force told local outlet Kumparan News: ‘When they were raided, they were making collab content about a game where the winner would sleep with Bonnie Blue.
‘No pornographic activities or acts have been found in the collaborative content.’
It was claimed the group would be allowed to go back home shortly.
However Billinger, alongside two British tourists and one Australian, were detained for longer.
Her spokesperson told news.com.au she ‘was released on Saturday [and] is co-operating with authorities’.
At a press conference on Thursday, where Badung Police announced Billinger would face trial over the ‘Bangbus’ offences, reporters were also told she and her team would be banned from the country for ten years for breaching their visa privileges.
‘While in Bali, BB (Bonnie Blue) should have been travelling, but instead she was creating content,’ said Badung Police Chief, Arif Batubara.
Immigration chief Heru Winarko added: ‘They will be black-listed from entering Indonesia for at least 10 years (that) could be extended.’
Indonesia’s laws strictly prohibit creating, distributing, or publicly showing pornographic material, with more severe penalties if minors are involved.
