‘I told Nigerians trouble was coming in 2015’ – Bishop Oyedepo

Founder of Living Faith Church Worldwide, Bishop David Oyedepo, has said he warned Nigerians as far back as 2015 about looming challenges facing the country, asking pointedly whether those predictions eventually came to pass.
Speaking during Day 5 of the ongoing Shiloh programme, Oyedepo recalled earlier revelations he said he received decades ago, stressing that certain developments are often known in the spiritual realm long before they manifest physically.
According to him, “This man will have unchecked access to secrets. They can tell what you are saying in your bedroom and nothing shall escape them. It will be the highest intelligence. They know what is coming far before the planet begins.”
Addressing Nigerians in particular, the cleric stated, “For those who are Nigerians, I told you 2015 trouble is coming. Did you come? I saw it first time in 92.”
Oyedepo explained that his message was not intended to instill fear but to prepare believers for the realities ahead, stressing the importance of spiritual insight and discernment in navigating national and global challenges.
He further encouraged worshippers to remain steadfast in faith, noting that periods of turbulence often precede breakthroughs and divine intervention.
Despite the difficulties he referenced, Oyedepo struck a hopeful note, assuring worshippers that the season of hardship would give way to triumph.
“But thank God, victory is here,” he declared.
